UWGB Make-A-Difference Day

From 1 to 4 p.m., Friday, October 23 students will be giving back to the greater Green Bay community, raking, cleaning and light house projects for seniors and disabled residents in the local community. They will also assist with projects at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary or perform trail maintenance at Baird Creek. Transportation from Mary Ann Cofrin (MAC) Hall Circle to various service sites will be provided by UWGB. Those registering before 4 p.m. on October 9 will receive a t-shirt for participating.

UW-Green Bay students and staff are also encouraged to participate with the Volunteer Center of Brown County on Saturday, October 24. Saturday volunteers will be responsible for their own transportation, but will be recognized as part of the UWGB community of volunteers. Plans are underway for a a Difference Day Celebration at the University Union following the volunteer work.
